Nava Barman, who goes by Nava Drops Barz on stage, is from Aurora, CO before making Philadelphia his musical home. He released his first studio album, "chasing magnolias," during his M1 summer 2020. Nava's music is characterized by lyrical rap over moody, bass-heavy beats, and he has gained a loyal following of listeners. Nava is also known for his high-energy live performances, including freestyling, and has sold out shows in Philadelphia and Boston. Despite being in medical school, he remains a fearless independent artist. His latest projects showcase his versatility beyond hip-hop, including the melodic indie pop single "Train to TriBeCa" and his recent take on folk songs, "Highs N Lows". His anticipated indie pop album is slated for release in Summer 2024.
